This is a film poster of 'adulthood' and just by looking at the central image you can tell its a film which involves crime. The way he's dressed shows that it's a 'hood' film as his hoodie is up. Also the way he's standing with his hands in his pocket shows that people associate 'thug' behaviour with dark clothing and inappropriate gestures. The genre of this movie is crime and action. 

Paranormal Activity log line

The films are based around a family haunted by a demonic entity that stalks, terrifies and ultimately murders several members of the family, and other bystanders, during the course of the films. The series makes use of camcorders, security cameras and other recording devices, presenting the films as found footage.
